Life, Cats, and PVCs
September 13, 2026
I have times when I'm just not motivated to do much. This morning is one of those times. It's raining out, which makes me want to lie down and take a nap, even though it's still morning.
I'm in my office at my computer, looking out the window to our backyard. Mouse the cat is out there getting a drink out of a puddle. She's not really our cat; she's feral. We feed her twice a day, so she has adopted us as her home. Not sure where she sleeps.
It's not quite fall yet, but the leaves on the walnut trees are already turning yellow and blowing off the trees with the wind.
I saw the cardiac electrophysiologist this week. He's going to be running some tests over the next couple of months to determine the cause of my PVCs. Depending on the results, the options are ablation, a pacemaker, or possibly medication, but that's not likely. Whatever the result, I'm looking forward to getting it over with so I can start feeling better.
