Web Finds for April 3, 2017

Web Finds are from my web surfing travels. You’ll find some unique, informative, and some of the coolest websites and apps that you may have never known existed. Enjoy!

Pinboard is a fast, no-nonsense bookmarking site for people who value privacy and speed. Pinboard lets you bookmark from any browser, connect up to three Twitter accounts (and favorites), and sync with popular services like Instapaper or Pocket. I recently started using Pinboard and I have to say this service is amazing.

My favorite Pinboard bookmarking and searching app on iOS. All of Pinboard.in at your fingertips with powerful search support, quick bookmark creation, and easy browsing.

Fluid for macOS lets you create a Real Mac App (or “Fluid App”) out of any website or web application, effectively turning your favorite web apps into OS X desktop apps.

The USPS Can Now Email You Photos Of Your Mail Before It’s Delivered
The service, called Informed Delivery, scans your mail then emails you a black and white scan of that mail each morning. The USPS has been scanning envelopes for a while because it’s how their sorting equipment works, and now they’re just making those scans available to its consumers.

IFTTT Adds New Applets for iOS Calendar and App Store
Services that work with your smartphone or tablet have been an important part of IFTTT since the very beginning. Today we’re excited to announce two brand new ways to do more with your iOS devices: the iOS Calendar and App Store services.
